Please HELP!!! Trans will not mount to LS

I have a 83 hurst/olds with a 2004r trans. My transmission will not mount. I have about quarter inch away from the block.

Did you make sure the tc is seated properly?

What specific engine are you using? Most likely just the converter not being seated all the way. Very common. BUT, there are long crank truck motors that require a different flexplate or you can't get everything together.

I believe i have a 2000 lm7.

Is the tc adapter at the rear crank aligned properly? Maybe it's hitting the tc snout?

So it turns out i didnt have it seated properly. I have another question, can i reuse the torque converter bolts?
