Thank you very much for that, my friend. That was very helpful. From what I can ascertain, you first work out the scratch or scuffed area....once that's smooth, you compound the entire glass panel that you're working on. I guess that keeps the finish consistent..I like it so far.

Jack,
I'm sure they just did that little scratch as a demonstration of what can be done with the kit. In your or my case where we just want to polish out minor scuffs but more importantly the entire surface, I'm sure the procedure could be used uniformly rather than just in one isolated area like they did.

I remember seeing this episode and taking an interest in it as I planned to polish out all the glass on the car when it nears completion. Especially the drivers front side glass as it takes the most abuse getting used on a regular basis as you said.
