If you are running stock heads, Dont waste time in doing anything else to it.
Put it in and drive it.
Get a set of heads and port them. Get an intake and match it.
Then install them and a cam once finished
Installing a power adder and not freeing up the power thats already there is a waste.
It has LS3 heads, to even improve on stock castings is a huge step up cash wise. They will easily support what I want to do both boosted and NA. It already has a big cam that will work very well for one summer before I boost it. The intake is only about 5hp down on a stock LS3 at the top but trades for a broader torque curve with about 5 more ft/lbs at 3500.
I have the long tubes and full exhaust already. So I might as well have some fun with them... 😉
