Pontiac Grand Prix/LeMans/Grand Am Gauges

Can anyone tell me if and what the market value of these gauge clusters are before I chop them up? They have the proper printed circuits, pods and gauges all in great shape (I might even have the senders in a box too).



And if anyone with a clean set of idiot light clusters wants to do a trade plus cash for them PM me.

the gauge clusters are always being sought out by people. If i didn't already have a set I'd be inclined to buy the set. The pointers are the right color for my car too. they look nice and should fetch a pretty penny. 50 bucks for the gauge cluster wouldn't be unreasonable I don't think.

As far as chopping them up, it sounds like you plan on installing after market gauges.
I would definitely use a set with idiot lights, clock and no trip odometer gauges before cutting these up.

All I know, without checking for a date code, is that they came installed in my '80 LeMans wagon. I cannot confirm the RPO code either as the car has been repainted; the VIN indicates that it was originally equipped with a Buick 3.8L V6 (I imagine that it was pretty bare bones from the factory).

Like I said, if there is a significant value and somebody wants the complete set, contact me. But, if we are talking about $50 worth of gauges and a tonne of aggravation doing the switch, I am just going to proceed with my project.

I do.

Remember that I need to conduct an exchange for idiot light custers/pods, not an out-right sale.

Well, I'll give it until the end of the weekend to re&re the dash/HVAC clean it all up before committing to a course of action.

Worst case scenario is there will be a nice set of 6 factory gauges (just the gauges) in a box ready to go); just none of the plastics which will be adapted to my needs.

i have a set of idiot lights and a speedo cluster to trade but i'm low on funds. how much did you want for the whole shebang?
