Lol no it's a long story tho. My brother had a 88 Monte SS 305 200r4 that rear was in it when he got it at the time I was a car dealer and I was fixing a wrecked 87 SS to sell with a 3.73 posi and a bent axel so I swapped them and gave him the good stuff for his driver and I put a 6 cylinder open 79 Cutlass unknown gear rear in the wrecked 87 because I wanted the Richmond 4.11s and summit carrier for my 83 Cutlass that I was street racing with a SBC at the time we'll somehow all these years later I still have that rear it's in my 87 Cutlass with a 455 olds and an M-21 but it's to week and has to much gear so I'm putting an 8.5 in it and I figured some of the parts would be good for my low buck 78 Cutlass W-31 build check out my other posts I have a wife and 2 daughter's the cars are what keeps me sane thanks for your helpI have no idea on the calculation, but l'll reply OUCH ! What was the car with 4.11's a 1/8th strip car ? Lol
I thought Richmond made a 3.08 gear set with a thicker ring gear that will fit the 3 series carrier?
