Post Office sucks too

Last week a package of mine was delivered at a similar address but a block away. Luckilly the guy there knows me and brought it to me. Just this week I sent a package to Washington State and my friend says he never got it. Tracking says delivered to addressee in both cases. WTF? I worked for those idiots 36 years, the last 20 doing Parcel Post. If I screwed up I was expected to go find it and make it right. Now, no one cares.

My wife is in a cult sells Pampered Chef stuff, had a shipment that the intended 803 Birch got addressed to 308 Birch.....Fed ex says it was delivered to address at the front door. THERE IS NO 308 BIRCH. There's a 304 and a 312...and a garage between them to one side with no number anywhere on it. FX says tough shat, we delivered it as addressed

Yeah- I WAS a mailman. I'm em-bear-assed to admit it these days. So the package I sent to my friend was delivered to the other end of his building. The idiot woman there let it sit there for three days. She said she figured the mailman would come get it and put it where it belonged. Maybe she has a future at the PO?!?
