Very nice work! Looks just the same quality of the stuff that comes out of GSD Powder Coating in NJ, my previous employer. 😉

Nice work!....Just wondering how difficult it is to get colors matched with powder...or is it basically the same as paint colors...using codes and the like....IIRC, Olds cutlass body colored wheels were enamelled and baked to keep the paint from chipping so easily.

They can match your color that you want but when they do they like to make a run of 40 or 50lbs of powder. They dont just make a small amount, like as if you were going to get a quart of wet paint. There are so many colors to choose from its hard to imagine they dont make something close to what most people want.

Pics look really good. I recently started myself but am still limited to the size of a household oven. I am in the process of building a 6x2x3 oven soo i can do rims and motorcycle frames.

Rims should be easy to do in an oven of that size....but motorcycle frames will be a bit difficult in that size oven. I did that when I first started out. I had a 6X4X4 oven and it was sort of a pain. Then I went to a 10X6X4 oven....makes a huge difference, plus I can get a set of rims done in the time it takes to do just one.

Good luck jmsteen!! 8)
