Hey everybody I have been working on my project monte for a loooong time lol i have run into a issue with my power steering pump. I bought the chrome pump from ebay thinking everything would work fine but after receiving it i realized that the fitting are different from the original pump. I found out that the new pump is for a 1970-74 monte carlo... Do any of you guys know what adapter i need to make this work or if i have to buy a new power steering hose. Thanks for your time hopefully I can get this resolved.

If you're able to remove the brass insert, the o-ringed hose fitting will fit your new pump.
You may have to tap a thread into it, thread a bolt, and try yanking it out.

Your other option would be to purchase an older style P/S hose with the flared end fitting.

You can also unscrew the hex valve from the pump and swap them out...that's if worse comes to worse.
