Power Steering Pump Help Needed

It was a long drive. It normally takes just under an hour to get there.

I was thinking the pump siezed & shered the bolts, but thats alot of force on 9.8 grade bolts. Is there any noticeable damage to the brackets?

If it's a v belt setup setup you should be able to add the bolts and then use a pry bar to tighten the belt. If it's a serpentine setup the rent the puller to pull the pulley then add the three bolts and put the pulley back on then your good to go again.

You have to have puller. Odd that would happen though. Get proper bolts, clean all threads, Loctite and you should be good to go. You can use transmission fluid in the reservoir. Good time to look at hoses and maybe change P/S fluid.

All back together, thanks for the advice. Hoses, pulley and pump appeared to be in good shape. Replaced all 4 belts since 2 were cut and the other two had to come off anyways. Also refilled the fluid.

Glad to hear you got it back together. Sorry I didn't get any pics posted for you. I've been busy the last few days and it slipped my mind.
