i think the shaft is bent or something i started the car up and the power steering pulley was wobbling pretty bad, almost as if a pulley wasn't put on straight.... so i think i need a power steering pump for my 78 cutlass, with the bracket and pulley, ya know that whole set up... anyone else have this problem,?

You sure the pulley itself isnt bent?

The power steering pump pulley is pressed on. Maybe it worked itself loose. You can use a threaded rod, washer and nut to press it back on if that's the case.

pulley is mostly likely bent. it's pretty common for steel pulleys kinda like steel wheels. if the shaft was bent it ould most likely be leaking pretty bad.
