I just got home and started rolling up the windows, the driver side went up perfect but the passenger side window went about 3/4 the way up then fell into the door. I am completely clueless on what to do, is this a quick fix? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pull off the door panel and start looking. Either the window broke free from the guides, or the track guide broke free from the door, or the motor unbolted itself. Honestly not too sure, but basically you have to pull the panel off and start poking around til you find something askew.

Got everything off and found that the regulator had just fallen to the bottom of the door frame, for some reason, probably just old age, the rivets and supports busted and the regulator and window fell to the bottom. I have no idea how to bolt the regulator back in or even if it works but for now I have rigged a support out of notched wooden rods and zip-ties. Will I be able to just bolt the regulator back in place and having a running window again?

Get 4 bolts 1/4"-20 x 1/2" long and 4 locking nuts that fit the bolts, it doesnt look like there was anything holding the regulator in place. I dont have a picture of which holes the bolts go through but Im sure another member does. I would remove the glass from the track and remove the glass from the door to make the motor/regulator somewhat easier to move around.

or the nylon gear on the motor is stripped

Never seen them made of nylon, only metal.
And I'm glad you figured it out. Not common, or at least I've never heard of this happening before.

:blam: ...I was thinking of the wiper motor... 😳

Going to try and remount this thing and see if we can't get the window back on track and rolling again. Wish me luck.
