Power Window Switch

My window switch is old and having issues ( just like me) It doesn't work the odd time and if the switch isn't in the neutral position my module won't put the windows up when I hit the alarm and door lock remote. Instead of replacing it with the same has anyone used other switches that have the auto feature.

Just replaced my driver door side switch, with a new GM switch works like a new window both doors.
Very happy with the outcome, took me about 30 min.

Gbarrie, when you replaced your drivers door switch did you also replace the chrome escutcheon? My switch is fine but the chrome escutcheon screw tabs were broken and someone glued it to the woodgrain bezel. Couldn't find a pic of the driver's side but this one shows the passenger single side with the single chrome escutcheon - I am seeking the drivers side dual chrome escutcheon with the screw tabs. If anyone knows where they can be found, let me know. Thanks.

I am facing the exact same issue with my switch. The switch itself is fine, but the plastic mounting bracket tabs snapped off. I cant find a switch that comes with the bezel.

I believe pontiacgp was talking about adapting a later model switch into the stock location. A switch that has the auto down fuction.
