The trunk release, radio and pwr windows only operate with keyed ignition on. Is it possible/advisable to move a few wires around so that the trunk, windows and radio have unswitched 12V?
As long as they are fused accordingly it shouldn't be a problem. Something like a radio that has a constant draw to maintain a clock i.e., could lead to dead battery if it sat long enough.
I have a switch to for the radio to work without the key but it is a safety feature to have the trunk release only work with the key. For the windows I have a module that puts the windows up when I lock the doors and set the alarm with my fob. But if you want to you could always bypass the wiring...
