I'm not a pro-street or dedicated drag car guy. Still tempting, but I honestly don't know what I'd do with it. Shame, cause it's in the town my wife is from and currently teaches in.

I'd buy it.
 
If you don’t want a race car, buy it for the rear end alone then part out the rest for that price.
 
I'm not so sure. It looks like it could be a pro street car for show, but from the pictures the cage doesn't look right to be an all out race car.
 
Good start for a dragstrip beater. Drop a mild but sturdy 350 in it and just go be consistent. As long as you aren't too quick, you wouldn't have to worry about certs or breaking parts. Looks well worth the price to me.
