that paint will not last long. either use P.O.R. or use valspar brush paint. sounds dumb but it actually self levels and fills in all the little pits and all the ugly stuff. other than that it is looking great. if i were you u would put some poly bushings in.

Sorry or not updating sooner, but i just didnt have the time.

Well its all in and running now. It slipped in good and everything came together very well. The motor was in on saturday and was running on sunday, today we timed it and adjusted teh carb for now, but i have not had it out on the road yet becasue of the 3 inches of snow...

This thing sounds AWSOME and so far everything is good, i have a small leak out of the front cover, but nothing that cant be fixed.

It starts up on teh first crank with one pump to the gas and idles like a champ when it gets warm.

I cant wait to drive it.... and it came together REAL fast...

These are not up to date, this was saturday when it wasnt started yet, i will have more tomorrow of the final...

That Monte sounds Awesome!! What size exhaust are you using and are you using an x pipe or h pipe ? What kind of mufflers are you using? That exhaust sounds sweet. I hope mine sounds that good with my new exhaust. Good job! Keep up the great work!

That Monte sounds Awesome!! What size exhaust are you using and are you using an x pipe or h pipe ? What kind of mufflers are you using? That exhaust sounds sweet. I hope mine sounds that good with my new exhaust. Good job! Keep up the great work!

Its actually open headers right there, the cammera obviously didnt pick up on the sound, jsut the tone, you cant hear yourself think when you are behind it and you can really feel it in your chest.

THose revs were from the 900 RPM idle to about 4300.
