Hello, my 87 had a mickey mouse install. They cut the whole piece of metal from another car and machine screwed it to the tunnel. I want to correct this. Does anyone have a pic of there floor shifter or a diagram? There is no info on this in the gm factory body manual. Also I think the hole for the cable is to far causing it to stretch to far out. Thanks p.s. There is no info to help me that I could find, here or the net.

Thank You but what about the hole for the shift cable? Also do you know where I can get a the brackets? I have the two for the shifter just need the rear bracket for the floor console. Someone here mentioned you don't need it, but that 's probably why the center console cracked. Because no support.
