That engine looks super clean. I would throw a coat of paint on it and call it good

That is what I am thinking. Other than new valve covers and intake.

I am just wanting a good street/strip car. What intake would you guys suggest? When it comes to engines I am a noob. I dont really know sh*t about them. I also want to stick a good cam in it so it will lump like a muscle car should.

i have a decent cam dosnt lump to hard but sounds good ....Comp cam part 11-208-3 duration 280/280 lift .520/.520
and the intake being an Edelbrock Performer RPM Air Gap. you are going to have to look through summit racing for a cam that will match what your engine/ entire car build is going to be. i would stick with comp or lunati for a cam

You got a decent set of heads, those 781's are the big oval port ones.Usually a motor like that would come with the less desirable peanut port heads.Lots of potential thats for sure.A little bowl clean up,bigger intake valve, decent cam and a nice dual plane intake would really wake it up.

Thanks for the input guys. I am hoping to get moving along soon. I need to find a good machine shop around here to do these heads for me.
