I JUST PULLED THE ENGINE AND TRANS ON MY MONTE CARLO SATURDAY. I HAD TO PULL IT FROM THE SIDE DUE TO THE LONG NOSE THE CHEERY PICKER WOULDN'T REACH FAR ENOUGH FROM THE FRONT. DON'T THINK I COULD HAVE DONE ENGINE AND TRANS TOGETHER.

I always pull the motor and trans together. I just find it easier.

Im pulling it out in a few weeks again just to do some stuff for the hell of it.

Drain the the fluids, transmission, Oil, Water

if you have the drive shaft strap i would leave the drive shaft still attached to the rear since you are going to have it out for a few days and when you are putting the motor and trans back in then you unbolt it from the rear. it makes not losing stuff easier.

Dont forget the loctite on the bolts for the rear

Had that problem before. I went and bought a longer section of square tubing. No more problems with reach.
