Im putting a set of double humps, milled to 57cc in place of my stock late 70s smogger heads. I should be able to use the same rocker arms/push rods, shouldnt I? Cam is staying the same. Im at work now, but if needed I can get the cast # on both sets of heads.

I would verify with a pushrod checker and an adjustable pushrod, especially when there has been a height change such as milling heads or decking the block. I would play it safe now instead of having a problem later. The tools to check pushrod length are inexpensive and you will always have them for future changes.

+1

the rocker arms are a standard thing. there is a chance you need to run like an offset lifter but you should be ok with a proper length pushrod. valve geo is very important

Tons of videos on youtube show how it's done. In theory, the correct length would be stock minus the amount milled from the heads. That's assuming everything is at original designated spec. The fact is that with the 100 million SBCs that were built, nothing is exactly to spec. Should you measure the pushrod length? Probably. Can you get away with reusing all your old parts? Probably. Will it be right? No - but probably close enough.
