QA1 street lower control arms with aldan american coilovers

Just received my aldan american coilovers and tried to assemble it. The bottom of the coilover has a bushing that will not allow it to properly fit in the socket on lca. Wondering if anyone else has ran this setup on theor gbody , if so what did you do to get it in there? TIA

Looks like I can just shorten this and get it to fit. Thought it was a single piece

Whats the difference in dimensions between the two parts?

Looks like the steel sleeve is just a tad long, take it out and stick it to a belt sander or have a local shop shave off 1/32"-1/16" on a lathe; they'd probably do it for free.
