So today I went to the dealer for an oil change since the guy I know charges me 45 I don’t have to worry about disposal or any of that. I asked for 10w30 for the olds they usually throw mobile 1 in there then the guy says they don’t have it in a synthetic blend only full synthetic. All they have for synthetic blend would be the brand quantum I never heard of has anyone used this? Thanks in advance. From here on ima have to do it by myself

Quantum is owned by Calumet which is the parent company of Royal Purple and Bel-Ray Lubricants. They are the entry level option for Calumet when it comes to the Industrial side of things. I can't imagine that it's far off from the Royal Purple base without the purple dye and fancy packaging. I work for a Royal Purple/Bel-Ray distributor and we tend to steer customers clear of the Quantum brand.

Thank you! I was just curious cause the guy from the dealer said they would be able to get some Mobil 1 next time

Just being me but a blend can be 1% synthetic and 99% mineral.
Figure out your driving habits and go with the oil that fits your needs.
I like synthetic for some applications and not others
