Question about motor mount play

Evening,
I have a V6 85' Cutlass. I had a shop do my motor mounts as they were blown. I am building this car as a street cruiser/semi show car (down the road). I only drive it 5-10 miles every couple of weeks just to keep fluids moving and prevent any critters from moving in.
It seems like I still have a lot of movement in my motor, especially when sitting in park and going from Park to Reverse and or Neutral to Drive. Before they did the motor mounts, it felt like the car (best way of explaining it) would hop it moved so much going into drive. It does not do that now, but you can still see it move back and fourth pretty good when putting in gear. What is normal and or acceptable on these G bodies? Not sure if I should take it back and challenge the mechanic on his work. Thank you and sorry for the simplistic question.

They will rock around a little bit.

The mounts that we are buying nowadays suck!cheap soft rubber.

I put new mounts on the v6 that was in my car.3 months later one broke when pulling into my driveway.

Bought new autozone frame mounts for my 455 swap.the motor moves all over the place with them cheap mounts.drives me nuts feeling it move around.

If all the engine mounts and the trans mount are new and in otherwise good working condition you can always buy or make an adjustable limiting strap for the driver's side to stop most of the movement.
