I didn't want to highjack the post "suspension" by jbracing (9-26-11) by asking you a question or two!
I have been reading books on how to make your car handle (Mark Savitske & Fred Puhn) and found your commemts about what you've done to your longroof very interesting. I'm interested in what caused you to remove the rear sway bar ( did you read something or just do it?)? I have concluded from what I've been reading (right, wrong, or otherwise!) that I would be better off buying the best tires, shocks, springs, and front sway bar (for my El Camino), and NOT use a rear sway bar that attaches to the lower contrl arms (if I use a rear bar it should fasten at the rear axle and the frame) because bars that attach to the LCA reduce the effectiveness of the rear suspension.
