Questions for rolling chassis awaiting body on

guys, Finished finished rolling chassis on my 78 monte. Should I grease suspension fittings now or wait until the body is on when I then tighten control arms, etc? Also, bought a new axle and that too sits dry, should I fill it now or agin wait the 2-4 weeks before body goes on? Thanks... Any particular grease brand as well?

I'd do everything you can when it is easy. If you haven't got one going you might want to make a list on what you still need to do and mark each one off as you do it. There is a lot to do and easy to miss something

Ok, makes sense. The list? On it and correct, especially given somewhat new to this... As far as the actual grease, I have a filled older gun from a while ago, any difference or can you suggest what I do on this topic? New, brand, etc.? Thanks

I like the synthetic brands of grease and oil. For the suspension so you have OEM control arms?

No- UMI stage 11 kit--- strange engineering axle(I have their oil)...

I agree with pontiacgp do what you can that's easy. You may need a 90* zerk fitting for the drivers side rear of thr front control arm once you put the steering shaft in. It will be easier to grease it after. Ask me how I know.

You can torque the control arm bolts without the body on, the OEM control arms have to be torqued when the car is a ride height
