How much is the going rate for a good used quick ratio steering box for our gbodies? I see that they sell brand new performance versions for around $400...

Is that a quick 12:1 ratio? I looked it up and they didn't state anything about the ratio

Because I'm old, decrepit, and my reflexes aren't what they were when I was a younger man  , I'm planning on using one of the steering boxes out of a '78 Grand Am (after a professional rebuild!) in my build. It's a high effort, 14:1 variable ratio box. I loved it in my Grand Am and it wasn't twitchy(?) like the '87 Monte was. The twitchy(?) in the monte was while driving on the interstate at speed 😳 .

I bought a rebuilt one from Local autoparts store. Still close to $200 including a fat core charge, couldn't believe how expensive new ones were from Borgeson and Flaming river, but damn are they nice
