I finally got off my lazy butt and assembled the Quickjack 5000. It works perfectly. Lifts the car higher than I thought it would.

Still on my consider list one day. Do you find them that much of a pain in the *ss to move around & connect up?
Not too bad to move they have small wheels on one end so you can roll them around. I think I will get some bike hooks and hang them up on the wall when not in use. I am also going to put the pump unit on the bottom of my tool cart. The hoses all have quick disconnects on them.

I like the potential that it brings where you can basically work anything under your car but I honestly would hate to have my family be the first lawsuit against the company if it collapsed !

They have some pretty good videos on You tube, where they stack 15,000 pounds of steel on on a 5000 pound lift and it picks it up. They also loaded one up and torched off the shafts on the rams to show that the safety will hold.

I have watched those video's also when I was looking into these a while back, I still want to get one and noticed they are on sale right now at Home Depot for $1,099 plus tax but free shipping.
