Radio help!

My neighbor just bought a clean 62k 87 422. His radio will not work. The clock works, the courtesy lights work but it will not turn on with either the radio or cassette deck. All fuses in the fuse block are good. My personnal guess is the radio is done, but not 100% sure. Any ideas as what it could be or any past expierences with these Delco radios?

have you taken the radio out and tested the current going to the radio?..

I would do the same. Never know what you will find when you remove the radio....

I think you would have the old Delco "Block" radio. It needs two power feeds, one switched to the harness next to the speaker output, and one unswitched to a small harness on the other side. Check both.
