That is awesome! Love the interior.

What an interesting car! I don't understand why it was ordered with the V6 though. You think a car with that many options, including the handling package would have had a V8. Also, it looks like it was stored outside, because the top of the passenger's seat is faded. Being that it was in Maryland, the sun did not affect it too bad like it would have down south. Another thing I found unusual is the plastic strip that was screwed to the quarter panel pinch weld under the trim. I have never seen that before. Plus, referring to another thread about frame plugs, I guess GM did not put the plugs in the frame mount holes behind the wheel wells on all of the cars, because I doubt this one would have had them fall out. Also, why did GM build a car with a gauge package, and no tachometer? It's also the only G body I have ever seen with that radio. Previously, I had only seen them in Cadillacs. The catalytic converter threw me too. It has the flange style mount to the front, yet it has no bolts in it, and the AIR tube is connected with a silicone hose instead of it just being a clamped on metal tube like it was on my Cutlass. Could the cat have been replaced at some time?

I don't know if he made a good investment, and it was put away as an investment. Close to 12000 with tax in 1981. 27 years later he'd have over 25000 invested in stocks. I don't think he's gonna even see the 12000 back. But it is gorgeous. Lesson: STOCK RULES!!

Yeah, not too smart on that one. I would have got the 305 at least. It still is neat to look at! I think it'll bring around $6800 tops.

G-bodys are not collector cars and I'm happy to see them stay that way to keep the money grubbing 'investors' hands off of them.

I didnt know the fake wood trim actually looks good when in good condition.

Too bad it has the old man split bench with the shifter on the column and the puny v6! :?

V6... in 1981 gas prices were very high like right now. Sixes were selling. 2008....deja vu.
