ok so im going to replace the rear drum backing plates on my car. went to remove them and 1 anchor pin sheared off along with 1 of the small bolts on the bottom on each side. where and the world can i find these parts. i have located backing plates but cannot seem to find the rest. any help would be appreciated.

Im not clear on what you mean by anchor pin but i am assuming you mean the pin that goes through backing plate and break shoe that the spring clips to. If so all break hardware springs retaining pins etc are available at local parts store. The two tiny bolt on bottom if broke off can simply be drilled out and nut and bolted.

yeah no one can seem to locate the pin that the springs attach to at the top of the backing plate

Ok so your looking for the pivot point pin on top right where the break sit against and all the break hardware connect. It actually has a threaded stud going through the dacking plate and rear housing. That most likely will have to be found at a junkyard. If you cant locate one i will see if i can get one of a buddy who has some rears laying around.

i mean i could probably take them off the 7.5 but thats if they come off in 1 piece. plus for some reason i kind of want to keep it complete in the corner just in case. that way i always have a spare.
