so im looking to put 18's on my car so that means brakes and suspension are next before the motor get to nasty 🙂
i was wondering are all the 3rd and 4th gen camaro/trans am rear disc brakes a direct bolt on fit or do you have to move around shocks and stuff for them?
should i buy one of the rear disc conversion kits from summit or are they a waste?
can i put lt1/ls1 brakes on the front to?

well if the lt1/ls1 brakes fit i was gonna buy a whole rear end housing from one take the posi out, buy 28 spline axles and put the brakes on 🙂
will this work?

There's a couple threads on the turbo Buick forum about LS1 brakes. As far as bolt on, yes and no. There's a few modifications needed to be done.

As far as removing the whole rear end from one, it won't work because the angles of the upper control arms are different, it uses a torque arm/track bar setup, and it's probably too wide.

I'm not going to use the housing just take the posi out and them brakes. How hard of modifactions are there? Any chance of a link? I tried searching nothing to in depth though
