It looks like the shock relocation was a mandatory thing to make room for the e-brake mechanisms!!! Thats not so cool, and not knowing what kit is being used here I wonder if the brackets could be swapped left to right and right to left moving the calipers to the front if that would have then interfered with the lower control arms? I want the cheap man's solution to the 8.5" 4 wheel disc, but that one doesn't look like it, but it does not look that bad either.

I know there's an adapter for rear Caddy brakes, one of the vendors on here sells it, I forgot the name though...I don't think it goes up to '85 though, I think it's for the 76-79? I'd be hesitant to use it this one just because it's from a FWD platform but that's my .02....I used to have an 85 Eldorado FWD coupe w/EFI....that thing was sweeeet....
*edit* - Flynbye.com sells one

Speedway sells the rear disc kits for our 7.5's.. for around $300 for the whole kit.

Yea I would just spend a little money and get a kit already put together. I saw a gbody rear disc swap on summit for around $500. Came with everything you needed.

The parts work great even if from front wheeled drive car . Heck the cars weight the same .

As for fitting Have to have flanges milled on axles to rotor to work on some . I been reading up my self on this . the caddy parts seems to be most straight forward to me.

So what about the 8.5 crowd .

So what about the 8.5 crowd options ?

And having to use rims larger than 15" ?
