I have the 229 gears now. I was wanting to go to 373 gears. I have been told I have a carrier able to handle up to like 308 or 323. I have read on some gear manufactures websites you can buy ring and pinion to fit the 7.5" rea end and match the carrier it has. Any comments on this. I just want lower gears for street use mainly. I am looking for a little off the line upgrade. I was looking at 410 gears but decided 373 would probably be better.
