Hey guys! Odd question. Does a rear facing car seat fit OK in the back of a gbody? By fit, i mean if it is installed behind the passenger seat, or in the center seat, can an average size passenger still sit up front?
I bought a mustang a couple of year ago as a weekend car that i did some work to, but I ended up selling it because it was insanely uncomfortable for my wife to fit in it with my son... there was no point to having it if they couldnt enjoy it with me.
I am thinking a gbody may be a better fit. Also, do the sedans and wagons have more rear seat room than the 2 doors cars? I could go that route as well.

Thanks guys!

There have been several people that use a car seat in their G bodys, including one that I remember that converted to a shoulder belt in the rear seats rather than just the lap belt these cars came with.
The wagon and sedan share the same floor pan with the coupe so the only difference would be how easy it is to get to the back seat.

Nice! Modern rear facing car seats are HUGE! Lap belt would only be needed for my application. Rear seat does have a center belt, right?
Anyone have a pic witha car seat installed?
