Been reading through the search engine for about an hour. I want my 81 El Camino lower in the rear. It has factory coils that are sagging now. I have read many posts of guys buying rear lowering springs and it raised the vehicle. I hate to buy 2" lower coils only to have it the same or higher in the rear. What have some of you used to get one actually lower in the rear?

I've been conducting research on the same topic. Moog 5409 and Moog 5413 seem to be the cheapest alternatives.

I have UMI 2" drop springs in the rear with a 28" tall 295/55 drag radial, they are actually smaller diameter than stock which also gave me the extra room I needed to build my 4" tailpipes.

I have Belltech 2" drop spindles and UMI 2" drop springs in the rear. Looks good and likes cloverleafs!

Here's 5658 fronts with tall ball joints, and cut fbody springs in the rear. Handles better than the stock bucket seats will allow.
