This winter, i am doing a rear end swap along with replacing the old, worn out suspension components in the rear. Whenever i am driving down a steep hill or hit a pothole, the rear end seems to bottom out, or at least it sounds like it. Maybe the tires are rubbing the wheel wells when it compresses. I am sick of the worn out suspension, so i need some info on what springs and shocks i should invest in. I am looking for a real stiff rear suspension too.

I just installed a set of Moog "cargo coils" in the rear of my all-stock, lo-mile '87 SS(I believe the number was #CC651), and they firmed up the ride nicely, as well as levelling out the car(maybe up 1/2"??)...got them pretty cheap thru "amazon.com" of all places....and very happy overall 😀
