Rear Springs

I have stock springs in my 78 malibu and they are crap. Would it be better to get new stock height ones or get ones that lower it an inch. I want it to ride nice but still be firm but want the rear higher than the front. For now im not going to mess with the front ones. Which would be better?

Good website. I wonder why the Moog site doesn't have this info (I couldn't find anything).
