Does anyone know were there specific years and or specific models of Gbodys that came stock with a rear sway bar ? Trying to narrow my search in the salvage yards but i'm not sure where to look first ? any help would be appreciated

For Oldsmobile and by model I believe the Cutlass Salon, Calais, 442 and the Hurst Olds' had the F41 sway bar as a standard option. There were smaller sway bars available on other models but I have no clue what the option code was. Monte Carlo SS, GN's and T types had the same bar. I have (2) factory sway bars from 442's I would be willing to sell if you're interested. They have been sandblasted and painted with semi gloss black. I can ship cheap with my corporate Fed Ex & UPS account. PM me if your interested.

Base models seem to not come with rear bars. My plain Jane base Regal didn't have a rear bar but I am going to install one after I replace my body bushings.

I agree that most base models don't. As far as I know all cutlass Calais & salons came with f41 steering boxes, large front sway bar & rear sway bars as stated. I've seen a lot of gp's have rear bars too.
