Thanks guys........I will look at the 235/60 closer, I just figured they would look too tall..........but after seeing the 255/50/16 isn't as short as I thought it would, 235/60 may be viable.

I like the BFGs, yes.......

SO it was actually 60 degrees here yesterday, and I was able to work on the wagon. I still need to wash the car up, from the snow and rain (raining today too, and polish the lips on the rims, so look over the dirty!)I replaced my rear coils with new variable rate ones. Couldn't get the rear shocks changed, as the bolts seemed to just be turning when I tried getting them out. Didn't have a whole lot of time, so I just changed the rear coils and put on all 4 of the "meshies".....I was disappointed with the difference in height the new coils added.....not much at all, versus the original sagging ( I thought) springs....but they do help some, in the "slight" scrubbing issue I have, in my terrible driveway.

The front tires I chose are 225/60/15 BFG TA's...........I was really hoping the new rear springs would raise the rear up alot. Still sits lower than the front end. And I have even cut a full coil off the fronts.....oh well.

They look good, got any center caps?

I haven't bought the caps yet, but have been looking. It does need them!
I have a newly rebuilt and tested replacement dualjet to go on it as well, but ran out of time, plus my local Autozone didn't carry a carb gasket, in stock, for it...........I said wth? Anyway, I am going to keep working on it, but there is a guy my fiance works with who is chomping at the bit, to buy this off of me. I am not really sure I want to sell it, so I priced it high, real high, to see how bad he does want it...........didn't faze him in the least. he still wants it. Money talks, I guess. It would be the first time I made money on selling a car (if I do sell it), and it would be actually 2.5 times what I paid for the car, if he does buy it. He wants both sets of wheels, and the 71 455 and Turbo 400 to go with the car, so I priced it, like I said, high, and he still wants it. Time will tell, because if he wants it that bad and has the money, he'll take it home with him, and I can begin the search for the wagon's replacement....

Looks good with the new wheels. I always liked that style wheel. Infact I have the FWD Pontiac Bonneville version on my Olds Ciera. I also painted the centers black. The centers were also gold...yuck!

Thanks, I have been wanting these on here for a while, now.....Up close it disconcerns me they are 2 different types of wheels (front are non-dimpled, rear are dimpled), but it is what I could get.

I have always loved these style wheels, and just read where Enkei is back up and going, reproducing this type (although only small 5 lug, and mostly 4 lug patterns) of wheel.

Thanks man! Not my first choice in cars, but I bought it from my elderly next door neighbor with 18,000 orig. miles on it. Now has just over 25,000 mi. It was supposed to be my daily driver when I lay up the wagon to be worked over and painted.
It didn't quite happen.

So after driving around with the GTA's on, as I have said before, I had some outer wheel well lip scrubbing on rough roads and bumps.
I installed new rear variable rate coils, and was disappointed with the lift. Ever since I bought this car, the rear has always sagged. I thought it was because of weak coils in the rear, because I cut a full coil out of the front, and the rear was still way low. I decided to go with installing 1.5" spacers on the rear, and was able to finally do it this weekend. I am very happy with the car stance now. I have come to the conclusion somewhere in the car's life, someone installed the wrong front springs.

With new rear coils installed: Coil spacers I bought (could have made at work but this was easier): http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...0670384465&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWNX:IT

I wish I had pics on level ground, but the grade in last 2 pics is virtually the same.
