I'm in the process of getting my 86 442 ready for paint. It's going to be the factory blue and gray paint job. (trying to keep it looking factory).
i have decided I'm going to go with SPI for their epoxy/primer/clear.
What I need to know what are some decent manufacturers for a good base coat. PPG is expensive, as is dupont. My buddy sears by Summit Racing's product line...
So what are you guys using? This isn't going to be a show car, but a nice street car. So where and what and how much do you think this will cost for a gallon of base, and quart for the grey portion?
