Lines are nice, fit is perfect,,,,,,except for their mistake on the hood molding recess in the rear (they are removing)

Cutlass one will look just like it with its body lines being the only difference

Re: Regal, Grand National, TTYPE Steel Cowl induction hood t

You've officially made my year. I've been searching for a steel cowl induction hood for my Cutlass for years now, and I'm currently considering picking up a Regal. Will 2" and 4" scoops be offered? What will the ballpark price be for each?

Something doesn't look quite right IMO. Does the cowl go all the way to the back of the hood or does it end before it gets to the rear of the hood? On the side view the cowl looks like its stretched out so its out of proportion to how tall the cowl is.

It will be priced like the others for the monte carlo on the market. It will be priced the same so it is fair for all the brands (olds, chevy, buick) across the board. As for the height I think the 2" will be the first to come to the market and if we get demands for the 4" we will make it.

It actually goes past the end of the hood about an inch toward the windshield so it looks as if the wind pulled the cowl back. I guess calling it swept would be accurate.

I think it looks good.
I think you just need a better straight on side view picture with a clean background, in the current one the backend of the cowl is kind of hard to see.

OK, where & when can I get one? That's all I need to know.

As soon as they fix the back molding area they will sail. THey will be available at all restoration stores. Goodmark, Gbodyparts.com are the ones doing all the R and D, and other distributors will sell as well such as Tamraz, OPGI, Mikes montes, AMD will not carry, nor Dynacorn.

Would there be an additional cost to delete the "swept appearance" on the hood? I'd prefer a hood without that, especially with a 4" scoop, that would stick out like a sore thumb to me.

I hear you man, we took a poll and most liked that sweep. I too was one not too fond of it, but I will say when it gets on the car it is definately needed to make the look of the hood complete. Once Eric gets it onto his Grand National I will get hi res photos which will show the details better.
