I forgot to make mention that on Erics car he has brand new hood struts which held the cowl hood up ok. I will comment that if your struts are worn you will need to replace them as this hood is heavier due to the construction as well as an additional airbox that is functioning for the cowl. I am eager to see when the Cutlass one comes out if I can make it a direct vent.

Yes, right in my price range. I'll be waiting on the Cutlass 4" cowl hood when it's ready. So one day, I too can sit like this:

Man you want that hood dont you 🙂 ... I should have a sample in a month or so. I too want one so I can prepare paint.

There is something that I hold near and dear, those are the first test samples. They go onto my 81. By the time I am done alot of pride will be in that car. It will be buried with me when I kick the can!
