removing 2 rear window speakers from 82 cutty

how do i remove the 2 rear window speakers from my 82 cutty...im thinking at the moment through the trunk maybe....i dont know

Yep should be through the trunk..may just be held in by a metal bracket with a rod and clip type arrangement. I think some of the factory setups may have even had an insulated surround around the speaker.

Mine came out by removing a metal craddle.... and if you are interested most car audio shops carry a 6x9 conversion piece so you can ditch the crappy 4x10s and move up to a more readily available 6x9. Hope that helps......
