I have an 82 Cutlass.Whats the easy way to remove and replace the rear seats? Ive had a little trouble with this in the past. I know they have hooks or something which they go into.

The bottom seat just push back on each side and lift up. The back section has 2 Torx bolts to loosen and has a couple of clips that hold the seat in place.

MY bottom cushion was a pain to get out. Really have to push back and pull up at the same time. The Torx is a T47. T45 works but it is loose and if your torx bolts are rusty the 45 will strip the inside of the bolt out. The lesson, buy a T47, even if the store only has a T45.

Thanks guys for the help. I finally purchased a T47 and i used it on 1 bolt and got to the 2nd one and it stripped. After the metal strap the bolt was hooked to I just cut it with a pair of handy tin snips. Found a bunch of rust here and there. Not too bad. Mostly surface rust except 1 spot. Ill take care of it soon.
