Removing Side molding aka Bump strip

I agree that the lower body chrome moldings look good but once I stripped everything for re-paint, the new look grew on me so I left it that way.
 
I was looking at my GP last night and after double checking the chrome panels are drum tight. Not sure what I was thinking. My bump strip is going to go for 100% certainty. I'm on the fence about the lower chrome. I kind of like it. The hood and door edge chrome not sure. I will be keeping the hood crown trim though.... Which kind of leads into keeping the hood and door trim otherwise it looks piece mealed.
 
I'm old school and all about originality. Ordered mine with body side molding - bump strip - and lower chrome molding and it's stayin' like that.
