my project (85 cutlass) has a very sun damaged dash and i was wondering if anyone knew of a good site, or outlet to buy replacement dash, or a good dash cover. would appreciate any help

I believe gbodyparts has dash covers.

If you have the Funds these Guys will do you a Great Job. If not a Dash Cover can Be a temporary fix until you can find a Good Dash or have yours Redone.

I have a black dash and a grey one I would sell. The black one has one small crack between the drivers side vent and cluster-about 2" long and that's it. The grey dash I have has no cracks and is perfect. I'd take $200 for the black one and $250 for the grey one. I can send pics just let me know where you want them sent.

to bad the black one has cracks. i would buy it in a hart beat.i got a 1987 dark blue in good condition.no cracks fading or any thing. dont care for the 87 dash

Has anyone installed one of these new 2 piece cutlass dash covers? I haven't seen any pictures or a review of one. I have a very cracked dash that needs fixing up. I have a dash with no cracks that I took from a different car but I wonder how long it would last in the sun if I installed it. So I am wondering if it would be a good idea to put a dash overlay on that dash while it is out of the car and then install it. But, I wonder how these dash overlays look. How obvious is it that the dash has an overlay. The factory dash has a bit of sponginess and give to it. What's that like with the dash overlay?

If you guys want to chip in and buy a dash cover for me I'll install it and let you know how it is. 🙂

I have one on my 87. It Is plastic and it is ok, much better then dash it covers. It needed some trimming in spots and to install it you spread clear silicon around the outer edges of it and slide it over your original..

After 3 years mine has started to crack around the defrost cut outs at the corners.
