Replacement front spindles?

Anyone know where i can get stock height front spindles my old ones just dont feel right when tapping the holes the cast material must be the problem so i was hoping to find some steel replacements!

Used? I know they come up for sale quite often with so many people going with drop spindles.
Ive never looked but don't think stock spec'd ones are repo'd considering how shitty the geometry is. Could be wrong though.

I got a set of stock ones from summit racing. Forged steel. I think they were like 100 each free shipping

Advanced carries Dorman, they're a bit more expensive than whatever Summit has, about $200 each.

It's ok, I've been nervous about parts availability for my upcoming stock front end rebuild, I was just rooting around yesterday to see if what I need is going to be available. I was surprised to see them up there, along with pretty much everything else.

I have a set of stockers off an 81 Malibu, in great shape that I would be willing to trade for a set of 2" drop spindles.

Steel would be ideal I think the cast just seem crappy when it comes to drill and tapping them for big brakes!

I got tubular a arms spohn rebuild kit for steering umi sway bar New calipers and rotors. I'm in the middle of a ground up restomod. The parts aren't too expensive except the lower a arms. I went with qa1 355 from jegs. But with them you need a 60& spring adapter. Still cheaper then umi or any other brand asking 500$ I.got rid of all my original front end components
