I've got two low mile G-Body's but both have some hardware under the hood that needs attention. While I would prefer a package that had the correct size and number of appropriate nuts, bolts, washers and fasteners I'm guessing this is a long shot.

Is anyone else out there as anal as me? I'm trying to freshen it up under the hood. I have cleaned and detailed but have some rusty looking hardware.

What hardware are you trying to replace? I'm pretty OCD as well when it comes to that stuff.
Are you familiar with reading a bolt gauge to determine thread diameter/pitch, etc?

I have most of the sizes memorized on body hardware as I upgraded my Cutlass to stainless goodies, and used to work for a fastener company which helped.

Thanks for the responses. I’ve checked Kirban and he has a couple small kits, nothing comprehensive.

I don’t have any experience measuring pitch, threads etc but after detailing my engine bay I really noticed that it’s the bolts and brackets that seem to detract from the cleanliness. I’m as anal as it gets when it comes to that.

The radiator top plate, the bolts at the bottom of the fuel vapor canister, the hood latch hardware, hinges etc. the bulk of what I’ve seen has a 7,10,&13mm head and is black. I haven’t taken a trip to Ace or anywhere to match it up yet but if there were an easier way I’d be all for it.

I’ll have to check OPG and some others.

The radiator top plate bolts are metric as well as the hood hinges and latch stuff.
Radiator top plate: M6-1.0x25. The way to read that is 6 millimeter with a thread pitch of 1 millimeter, and 25 millimeters long.

Quick conversion: 1 inch=25.4 millimeters.

Hood hinge bolts: M8-1.25x25.
Hood latch/release on the core support:
M8-1.25x25.

Most reputable hardware stores should have automotive fasteners in their hardware section. The bolts will look like this....
