replacment transmission

I need help finding what transmission's will bolt up to my 86 3.8l regal, my local junk yards don't have any 2004r trans, so I need to know what else with bolt up to my 3.8 without having to do much modifying.

any trans with a buick olds pontiac pattern or the dual battern. both chevy and bop. the question is what trans did it have originally, crossmembers are different for different transmissions.

it has the 2004r trans in it, i found a 86 buick century and two regals one an 81 the other a 89 not for sure what they got in them gonna check them out in the next couple days, but im not for sure what im looking for, do I just need something with the same bolt pattern?

Are you checking out all the big cars like the rwd Cadillacs, Buicks, Olds and Pontiacs? I know the coupe and sedan de ville Cadillacs have an AA code 200-4r that is a good core and has a valve body that works well. the Buick wagons have good ones also.

BQ valvebody.
Unknown working condition. Physically, looks pretty decent.
