I've heard this has been used with success. Haven't tried it myself yet.

I did the conversion using the wiring diagram from Malibu Racing.No cutting of wires,just swapping them around in the connector that plugs into the gauge cluster.
X2. You may need to get an extra pin from a donor car to use for the tach though, I made sure to grab it when I was pulling mine from a Monte SS.
No, the tach filter doesn't make a difference, at least not from my experience :lol: Also, if you're taking the cluster out yourself, make sure to get the sending units if you can. The senders for the dummy light cluster are basically just pressure/temperature switches.
