Datsun 1200? I can see one thing it needs though: An engine swap. No, I am not so crass as to say it needs a V8. However, a 13B Rotary, 4A-GE 20V, SR20DET, SR20VE, or a Hartman Hayabusa conversion (in L4 or V8 configuration) would be a lot of fun!

BTW, I LOVE your use of bike carbs on that thing!!! I wanted to do something similar with a B16B swap into a round nose Mini.[/quote]

I don't oppose imported vehicles. The Geo Prizm is a Toyota Corolla, the Pontiac Vibe is a Toyota matrix, and the Isuzu Hombre is a Chevy Colorado  If that's what you prefer to drive, so be it. But do not think I'm going to drive one... I had a brand spanking new Dodge Stratus R/T coupe in 2003 - car was a piece of sh*t. Chrysler ended up buying it back under lemon law. Found out the day I bought it that it was nothing more than a rebadged and refendered Mitsu Eclipse.

I will not argue the longevity or dependability of Honda's. But any vehicle will last forever as long as its maintained. Me, I drive GM's and Mopars.

Sorry but someone lied to you. The stratus was not the refendered rebaged eclipse, the Avenger and sebring to a point was. As far as Eclipses/ Talons go I have owned 6 of them and one avenger and they all where good cars. I still own a 98' Eclipse gs and it has almost 180k miles on it and runs great. I had a 94 eclipse gsx that put dowm 525 whp not that was a fun car to drive. And damn near nothing beats a awd launch a 4500 rpm with 4 slicks. Great fun that car was but someone offered me a price I couldn't refuse and sold it.

The four door stratus is Chrysler, the two-door is Mitsu. The sticker in the door jamb of the drivers door had the Mitsu Symbol and said "Manufactured by Mitsubishi Motors of America". I called the salesman out on it, and of course he played dumb.

I liked the car, but the constant drivability issues it put a damper on enjoying it.

The n/t 95 up eclipses/talons had Chrysler engines I guess the Avenger/Sebring/Stratus shared the engine and I know some of the interior parts where shared between the Eclipse/talon/avengerand Sebring. I don't recall the stratus using the same interior. I could be wrong. The engine they shared was the 420a 2.0l engine which there was a version of the enigne in the neon also. But that sharing of parts and Chrysler and Mitsu building cars together ended in 99'.

The other day I saw a BMW with this huge wing on the back and it even had a fart can  I couldn't help but laugh at him when I saw that obamination.
